Disturbances of the body image affecting its shape

Following the classification of body image disturbances from Lukianowicz (1967), the disturbances of the body image affecting its shape include a variety of types, among which autoscopy (see here) and reduplication of the body image are most frequently encountered as aura symptoms in migraine, two phenomena occurring jointly in the so-called out-of-body experiences.
