The irony of VS images

"I'm sure someone has commented on this before, but I find so much irony in seeing everyone's VS images. I get to see a 'normal' photo, which of course doesn't not look normal to me, and then I get to see that photo through someone else's vision, which then has my own vision issues layered on top. Something about this always makes me smile."

"You could say that the pixel size of real VS is many orders of magnitude smaller than the simulators. Its also in a three dimensional world and vibrates more than blinks on and off. My VS can appear to make patterns because some of it will seem light and some darker - but that could very well be VS superimposed on other visual problems. I think of it as everything is scintillating...

When I see the simulators, it's also the same for me that I see me own snow superimposed over and distinctive from the simulator snow. I almost feel that 'snow' is a bit of a misnomer, because it sort of describes it, yet sort of completely misses it."

"Our visual snow is different from the simulators. The simulators don't do a perfect job simulating because at least with my visual snow, the actual beads of light tend to dissapear when looking at detailed objects (I can always sense the movement or vibration of the visual snow particles, though). The simulators show it like T.V. static, where you can just as easily see the particles against detailed surfaces."
