Vicious circle of stress, persistent aura, anxiety and depression (larger image see here). If the positive feedback loop in which the system responds to perturbation in the same direction as the perturbation runs out of control, it can result in the collapse of the system. This is called vicious circle, or in Latin circulus vitiosus. © 2008 Klaus Podoll [more]
"... speaking as someone who has had batteries of tests performed over a four year period (various types of MRI/various types of EEGs/various x-rays/various blood tests/various eye exams/and many other more specialised tests), I would say that there definitely comes a point when one should stop [see Sonnenberg, 2002]. I say this because these tests are not only hugely expensive in monetary terms, but they take their toll on your general well-being (constantly waiting for test results etc.)."

"Sometimes I think stress from medical tests should be listed as a factor that can cause worsening of PMA."

"I had the MRI - now comes the waiting game - waiting for results - yay!

Buzzz... click... bbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrr... bang...
I thought I might be a little claustrophobic before, now I'm pretty sure... it took a whole lot of willl power to keep calm - it's nothing like a CT - lol!"
