Iatrogenic stress

Vicious circle of stress, persistent aura, anxiety and depression (larger image see here). If the positive feedback loop in which the system responds to perturbation in the same direction as the perturbation runs out of control, it can result in the collapse of the system. "... speaking as someone who has had batteries of tests performed over a four year period (various types of MRI/various types of EEGs/various x-rays/various blood tests/various eye exams/and many other more specialised tests), I would say that there definitely comes a point when one should stop [see Sonnenberg, 2002]. I thought I might be a little claustrophobic before, now I'm pretty sure... it took a whole lot of willl power to keep calm - it's nothing like a CT - lol!"
