Case vignettes

The following edited case vignettes are based on quotes from the Ezboard forum Visual snow or static, the Neurology and Neurosurgery forum at MedHelp, the forum for eye problems at the German @med1 forum and from a number of other internet sources. Despite attempts being made, none of these visual snow sufferers could be traced by Email for a follow-up or to ascertain further clinical data. The clinical features described by the sufferers have been assessed according to the criteria of the MAS score. The identified items of the MAS score have been inserted in square brackets. Diagnosis is given at the bottom of the webpage for each case. In addition to the subject's suspected diagnosis and MAS score, the following table of contents indicates special clinical features of each case.
