"If you are reading a bunch of documents at once or else doing alot of reading for a while, overlay the document with a dark blue plastic sheet. This helps alot if you suffer from bad afterimages like me. For me, the constant afterimages make it difficult to concentrate while reading standard black text on white paper documents. It also helps a little bit with VS, although you can see it. Try this! As I also have entopic phenomenon, I don't see the hundreds of blood cells shooting everywhere either while reading text through a dark blue plastic sheet. Try angling your view while reading the document for maximum effect. For some reason, if the plastic sheet I am using reflects the overhead lights, it can kind of block out the snow. Anyone else notice that in general? If you look at your reflection from a glossy surface, the VS is kind of 'blocked' out and it is much less noticeable. I do wonder if there are special glasses that could be designed that can trick our brain into ignoring the VS and perhaps really reduce afterimages, etc....."

"My green Irlen lenses help (not cure) these...
Sparkles in the sky (Scheerer's phenomenon)
Trails
Reading difficulties
Photosensitivity
Pain in my eyes
Patterns going wild
And another positive thing is that they make colours much more vivid and exciting rather than the dull misty version I had before, everything looks clearer."
