Watching TV

Although the recommendation of prolonged visual rests encourages stopping watching TV, or at least cutting down, there are some sufferers who enjoy just this activity because they don't see visual snow when watching TV.

"Watching T.V. or watching a movie is about the only thing I can really enjoy completely without my vision driving me nuts. I guess mentally you just figure its the T.V.'s static and not yours! Sometimes its hard to tell. - Maybe they could invent weird glasses that permit you to view life electronically like a movie. I thought about walking around the house with a video camera to see if that helps."
